We store the music scores you create, including all notes, measures, and other musical data. This is necessary to provide the service and enable features like real-time collaboration.

Usage Data

We may collect basic usage data such as pages visited, features used, and error logs to improve the service. This data is generally anonymous and aggregated.

Your data is stored using Firebase, a cloud service provided by Google. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your music scores are stored in our database and synchronized in real-time for collaboration purposes. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• When you share a score publicly or with collaborators
• With service providers who help operate the Service (e.g., Firebase)
• If required by law or to protect our rights

If you use ScoreTail as a guest (without creating an account), we create an anonymous session to store your scores. Guest data may be deleted after a period of inactivity.

We use cookies and browser local storage to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and enable core functionality of the Service.

You have the right to:

• Access your data
• Export your scores in MusicXML format
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential data collection

ScoreTail is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
